D Stanley Associates Haydock Park Hostel Redevelopment, Haydock Park Racecourse

Client:         The Jockey Club
Role:            Project Manager & MEP Consultant
Sector(s):   Leisure & Hospitality

We were thrilled to act as Project Manager and MEP Consultant on the redevelopment of Haydock Park Racecourse’s existing hostel.

The transformation of the dormitory-style accommodation into 13 modern ensuite bedrooms made a remarkable difference. Each bedroom now offers a combination of contemporary design and comfortable amenities, providing guests with a pleasant and memorable stay.

In addition, we were involved in the renovation of the canteen area, which now features a new kitchen and servery facility. To take advantage of the picturesque surroundings, we expanded the canteen into a beautiful conservatory, offering guests stunning views of the racecourse grounds and track.

The project scope also included redesigning and upgrading the existing changing rooms and reception area.  We are proud to have played a part in enhancing the guest experience and creating exceptional spaces at this iconic location.

“DSA have worked alongside us to upgrade our weighing room facilities and develop a new champagne bar and first floor terrace at The July Course at Newmarket Racecourse. From drawing up the initial concepts, to handing over the finished project, they have been a great company to work with, and at every step of gone above and beyond to deliver at all points during the contract. We look forward to seeing the upgraded  and new facilities in action throughout the summer, and thank the whole team for their work on the project.”
