DSA have delivered a number of projects for West Mercia Police over the last few years and all our team have NPPV Level 3 Vetting.
DSA acted as Project Manager on the delivery of a new EV Charging Station for West Mercia Police. The charging station, inclusive of eight AC chargers and a dual rapid DC charger, was installed within the existing carpark at Worcester Police Station and will be utilised by frontline EV Police vehicles. The infrastructure has been future-proofed to allow the charging station to be expanded to 27 chargers, as the fleet of EV police vehicles increases.
The works were carried out within a live police station carpark and required meticulous planning and stakeholder liaison to ensure police operations were not interrupted. Working with specialist EV installer Pod Point, all technical requirements and delivery phase restrictions on the project were defined from the outset. The works were delivered on budget, on programme and to a high-quality standard.
